The project required a modern HVAC solution that could fit into a confined attic space without requiring structural modifications. The Oxygen8 Terra Unit proved to be the ideal choice due to its compact cabinet design, low profile, and ability to fit seamlessly through the existing access hatch.<\/p>\n
The Terra MUA replaced the previous blower-duct heater setup, introducing advanced features such as a VRV-integrated DX coil for cooling fresh air and a heat pump for significantly improved heating efficiency. This transition from resistance-only heating to heat pump technology elevated the building\u2019s energy efficiency while maintaining an electric heat source.<\/p>\n
Additionally, the Oxygen8 Terra\u2019s factory-mounted, integrated controls ensured a quick, stand-alone, turn-key installation with minimal disruption. This system has set a new benchmark for improving indoor air quality and energy efficiency in buildings with limited installation spaces.<\/p>\n
