Job Title: Inside Sales

Job Description: DXS New England currently has Inside Sales openings in our Dallas and Austin offices. By joining DXS, you will be challenged to learn quickly and independently as you dive into VRV equipment selections, equipment layouts, pricing, and quotations under the guidance of an experienced salesperson.

Office Work (Approx 80%):

Project take-offs and estimating (20%): Each week this position will review the project bid lists from mechanical contractors and determine potential projects. The position will be responsible for designing and selecting HVAC systems to match engineered drawings. After making equipment selections, the position will be responsible for loading costs and equipment descriptions into the bid distribution software.

Equipment Submittals (10%): Once a project has been awarded to DXS, the position is responsible for putting together all the necessary technical documents for the equipment sold.

Project Management (50%): All equipment orders and customer coordination is done through this position. Communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are imperative for this portion of the position.

Out of Office Work (15%):

Job site visits and on-site training: Job walks for projects in design and construction phases. After jobs are sold and completed, on-site equipment training for building owners/operators.

Presentations: This position will assist in presentations at engineering and contracting client’s offices.

Sales Calls: This position will assist with sales calls. This includes, but is not limited to: lunches, office visits, presentations, happy hours, and other entertainment events.

Misc (5%):

Trade shows, continuing education, golf tournaments, skeet shoots, organizational meetings, etc.
