Fireman Community offers affordable, independent living for its residents. In its recent expansion, the community added 45 units to its 160-unit campus. This will be served by seniors, with a passive house certified design consisting of high efficiency all-electric HVAC equipment to keep occupants comfortable all year round! This includes indoor Swegon ERVs with integral VRV coils that can both heat and cool the outdoor air downstream of the high efficiency energy recovery wheel. These VRV coils in the ERVs are connected to remote air cooled VRV heat pump condensing units. There are also three separate VRV heat recovery systems in this building serving all the suites which minimize operational cost due to the part load and low ambient heating efficiencies of VRV.<\/span><\/p>\n
