The Woburn Department of Public Works sought to replace an aging air handling unit and transition to an all-electric HVAC system as part of a broader decarbonization effort. VRV technology was selected as the optimal solution to meet the building\u2019s heating and cooling requirements in this retrofit application.<\/p>\n

This project was a collaborative effort between CTI, HTS, and DXS\u2014CTI provided controls integration, HTS supplied the air handling unit, and DXS delivered the cold climate heat pump VRV system.<\/p>\n

By eliminating reliance on gas heating and switching to an all-electric system, the installation supports Woburn\u2019s decarbonization goals while improving long-term system efficiency.<\/p>\n
