We\u2019ve learned how to decarbonize; now, let\u2019s optimize systems to\u00a0reduce<\/i>.<\/p>\n Modern technology in HVAC and plumbing systems has enabled decarbonized building designs that help to break our dependence on fossil fuels. This is creating a built environment that is ready for our progression to a cleaner grid. The drawback? Upfront cost, physical space, electrical service, and power consumption under high load.
