Taylor High School in Taylor, Texas, recently moved to a new campus that accommodates more than 850 students. DXS was chosen as basis of design because it offered an efficient alternative to the four-pipe traditional chilled water systems. Over 700 tons of Daikin heat recovery and heat pump systems were provided to the new school, along with full BACnet controls integration. The resulting system provides the school with efficient and comfortable cooling and precise temperature control that’s easy to manage.

School district facilities planners and maintenance personnel plus the design team who support them are tasked with developing and maintaining usable, comfortable buildings that promote learning. They must do this across the country under the scrutiny of school districts determined to spend every bond and tax revenue dollar wisely.
