Castell Ave., New Braunfels, Texas 78130<\/p>\n<p><strong>When<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>April 29, 2015 | 11 am in Room 103<\/p>\n<p><strong>What<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Variable refrigerant flow (VRF) is an HVAC technology invented in Japan by Daikin company in 1982. Like ductless minisplits, VRFs use refrigerant as the cooling and heating medium. This refrigerant is conditioned by a single outdoor condensing unit, and is circulated within the building to multiple fan-coil units (FCUs). Due to variable speed compressors and the ability to match building load VRF is a very efficient HVAC technology<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chris Richardson has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton. During his 14 years in the HVAC industry he has worked as a consulting engineer, construction cost estimator, project manager, and Product Manager.
