\u200bThe Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Houston, TX underwent a renovation in 2016 to replace malfunctioning chilled water fan coils in one of its facilities. DXS worked with Lange Mechanical on this design build retrofit project to provide a new, functioning HVAC system that could be fitted into existing spaces, and installed while the current system remained running.<\/p>\n
DXS equipped the building with a Daikin heat recovery system with multi-port boxes and a BACnet interface and utilized the new technology of Daikin FXEQ air handlers. Through coordination with Veteran Affairs and Lange Mechanical, DXS was able to provide an efficient and non-intrusive installation that minimized disturbance to the building while creating a cool, comfortable environment in the space.<\/p>\n
