Description
A new hotel was built to serve the growing community of Barrhaven in Ottawa, Ontario.
DXS worked with The Aquila Group (consulting engineer) to develop a VRV heating and cooling solution to serve the amenity rooms, common areas, and service spaces. Electric duct heaters were used as a backup heat source, with each heater controlled by the VRV systems’ indoor units.
DXS supplied the following equipment:
- Daikin Air-Cooled Heat Recovery VRV System totaling 32 tons
- 14 Ducted Daikin Indoor Units
