Description

Originally built in 1903 as the Mooney Biscuit & Candy Company, this building has been converted into a boutique condo in Downtown Stratford, capturing the building’s historic qualities. The site was completed in the winter of 2020. It has 56 residential units and four commercial tenants, including Janet Hill Studio, Brch and Wyn, Home and Company, and the University of Waterloo. In 2021, the City of Stratford awarded Paul Veldman the James Anderson Award for contributing to preserving Stratford’s building heritage.

DXS worked with MNE Engineering, and Dave Davies Heating & AC to complete this project.

DXS supplied the following equipment:

  • 154 tons of Aurora Heat Recovery VRV units are used in heating and cooling applications throughout the building.
  • 70 Indoor units consisting of multi-positional air handlers, ducted concealed ceiling mounted units, and wall-mounted units
