Direct Expansion Solutions (DXS), a North American HVAC manufacturers’ representative that specializes in variable refrigerant flow (VRF) implementation and design, announced today that Dan Wine has joined their North Texas team as the Director of K-12 and Public Sector Accounts.
Wine brings over nine years of experience working in the education vertical market as an Operations Manager at Plano ISD. While at Plano ISD Wine monitored and managed the district’s 85 campus 18 million dollar utility budget, oversaw the energy management systems, reduced energy consumption by implementing programs and initiatives, identified capital improvements to reduce energy consumption and identified energy waste.
In Wine’s role at DXS, he will oversee Daikin VRV implementation in school districts and other public sector markets including hospitals, universities, and municipalities to help projects stay on-budget and to provide clients a smooth transition from construction to occupancy. He will also serve as a Daikin VRV product expert and host training seminars to educate clients on VRF technology.
“I look forward to working with school districts and other institutions to showcase the advantages of VRF technology including the energy savings and flexibility it can offer,” said Dan Wine, director of k-12 and public sector accounts for HTS Texas.
