Description
The University of Southern Maine Brooks Center for Esports was designed with high-performance, all-electric HVAC systems to support both occupant comfort and decarbonization objectives. Daikin was specified as the Basis of Design by the engineering team, offering a reliable and energy-efficient heat pump solution for the space. The selected system provides year-round heating and cooling without the use of fossil fuels, aligning with the university’s commitment to sustainability and carbon reduction.
DXS supplied the following equipment:
- 12-Ton Daikin Emerion VRV Heat Pump System
- 3x 4-Ton Daikin Emerion Concealed Ducted Indoor Units
- Daikin i-Touch Manager with BACnet Capability
