Internship With DXS?

The role of an intern with DXS starts very similarly to that of a new full-time hire. The internship process is a great opportunity for us to get to know a student that we believe would make a solid addition to our team. We will immerse the student in one of our sales teams for the summer. They will build experience in the engineering concepts and fundamentals of building HVAC. An intern is going to learn how to read construction documents, work through design and selection software, and assist the sales teams with delivering proposals and technical information to clients. At DXS, our interns are not stuck behind the computer screen the whole summer. We want our interns to see the life of the sales team both inside the office and outside. This means that our interns will attend client meetings, visit construction sites, and shadow the sales teams in a variety of environments. Our objective is to use our internship program to prepare new graduates to hit the ground running when they join our team after graduation.
