Ecofoot Roof Support Systems

Ecofoot’s products are designed to support all VRV or VRF systems. The Quick Frame, EcoFrame, Flex Frame, and MiniFrame 175 are all manufactured environmentally friendly with recycled materials, with clearer production methods, less waste, and fewer chemicals. Additionally, the support systems are easy to install, provide rooftop protection, and added stability.

  • The Quick Frame is built to accommodate a standard 1/2” threaded rod, or 1-5/8” strut off the shelf. The non-penetrative design spreads out the weight load, keeping the roofing membrane safe and decking/insulation below free of damage.
  • The EcoFrame is designed to securely support all types of equipment on membrane roofs without the need for cutting holes, pouring concrete bases, or making any modifications to the roofing membrane. This method is not only less labor-intensive but also a much more versatile solution for onsite modifications and fine adjustments.
  • The Flex Frame provides all the functionality of the EcoFrame, with the ability to also expand width-wise. Each leg is height adjustable to account for un-level roof surfaces, ensuring the equipment sits level for optimum operation.
  • The MiniFrame 175 is designed for supporting small equipment. This is perfect for units weighing less than 250 lbs. It is designed to securely support all types of equipment on membrane roofs without the need for cutting holes, pouring concrete bases, or making any modifications to the roofing membrane.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHT

Hotel Ella

Under new ownership, the historic building known as Mansion at Judges’ Hill recently transformed into Hotel Ella. The building, located near the University of Texas campus in Austin, went through a multi-million dollar renovation into a boutique hotel that is named after the building’s original owner, Ella Wooten. DXS was named basis of design for the project, retrofitting the common areas with 10 tons of Daikin heat recovery. The ductless units that Daikin offers integrated nicely with the existing architecture of the historic building. As a bonus, the increased energy efficiency and use of VRF qualified the owner for Austin Energy rebates.
