The mechanical engineer for Lingleville ISD middle school was looking for a custom solution to tackle the outside air units on this project. The design needed to incorporate energy recovery and a means for humidity control on the outside air units. The school district was tasked with meeting particular energy efficiency levels and had very minimal space to work with in some parts of the building. We were able to achieve this with Daikin EKEXV Air Handler integration kits.
Our team provided an energy efficient solution for occupant comfort cooling as well as the dedicated outside air units on the project while implementing a cost-friendly central controls system to work within the limitations of the project budget.
