Milton Academy is home to almost 1,000 K-12 students and previously had no cooling in Ware Hall, a building filled with learning labs, classrooms, and an assembly space. As the basis of design, DXS was tasked with providing a low-cost, efficient system to handle varying occupancies. 100 tons of VRV heat pump units had to be installed quickly over the summer to be ready for school in the fall. The flexibility and space-saving qualities of VRV made it perfect for this renovation.
