This building was being renovated due to lack of structural support for the existing air handling units serving it. The owners were looking for new energy efficient equipment that would not require any further structural bracing or require cutting into existing trusses. As basis of design, DXS needed to provide a budget friendly HVAC system that would fit the existing structural limitations of the building. Since church services are held in this environment, unit noise was also a very important driver.
32 Tons of Daikin Heat Pump Systems serving 10 Daikin Ductless Air Handlers, including wall mounted and ceiling cassette units, were installed on a very short timeline. The contractor had many people who had never worked with this equipment, and we were able to accommodate those needs with a private training class for the full workforce.
