Description
DXS was selected as the basis of design for the University Federal Credit Union Austin Administrative Plaza along the Mopac expressway in north-central Austin.
The server and electrical rooms posed problems for the project as standard cooling solutions wouldn’t provide the line lengths needed to cool these spaces. However, VRF allows line lengths of up to 3,280 ft, making it the perfect solution for the facility, allowing for climate control of these two critical areas.
Installed was a 38 ton Daikin heat pump system with wall-mounted units and cassettes.
