Memorial Lutheran Church of Katy, TX finished their new building for their campus in 2016. The building, which houses the church’s preschool classrooms and offices, was fitted between existing buildings, leaving no ground space and creating challenges for installing an air conditioning system. The original system selected for the building was unable to meet budget requirements, and DXS had to step in to find a quick solution that would put the job back on track.

By working with mechanical engineer DVO, DXS was able to offer Daikin equipment that would meet the facility’s needs of an outdoor unit with a small footprint. The building was provided with a Daikin VRV heat pump system with an iTouch controller and 100% outdoor air rooftop units. The system was completed with grilles, fans, and additional airside equipment.
