Recognizing the Fastest Growing Aggie-Owned or Managed Companies in the World
Texas A&M University recognized DXS as a member of the 2015 Aggie 100, which honors the fastest-growing companies in the world, owned or operated by Texas A&M University Former Students. DXS was ranked 88 with a compound annual growth rate of 34.39% from 2012 through 2014. The Aggie 100, a program created by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, honors graduates from across disciplines for their entrepreneurial endeavors and success as business leaders.
DXS, an HVAC solutions provider specializing exclusively in variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, is now a 3-time recipient of the Aggie 100 (2015, 2013, 2012). Seeing an opportunity to distinguish itself in the marketplace, DXS formed in 2007 with the sole focus of designing, installing and servicing VRF systems, which are widely used throughout Asia and Europe. The business has grown steadily since 2007 as engineers, architects, developers and building owners gain comfort with VRF systems. From its start in Central Texas, DXS has established itself as the VRF expert across the state, expanding to Southeast and North Texas with offices and equipment warehouses in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
The 100 Aggie-owned or Aggie-led businesses with the highest annual revenue growth were recognized on Friday, October 23, 2015, at a formal luncheon in the Zone Club at Texas A&M University’s football stadium, Kyle Field. More than 700 honorees, families, employees, faculty, administrators, and current student entrepreneurs were in attendance to celebrate their success.
